2. PAYMENTS
What fees are payable with my application?
There is no application fee applicable.
What fees are payable before I occupy my room?
On acceptance of your offer an administrative fee of R 350 (non-refundable) is payable to secure your spot before occupation.
Breakage fee of R 1500 is required and held for any breakages
Upfront payments: Annual fees and deposit are payable prior to occupation.
Instalments: First instalment and deposit is payable prior to occupation.
3. CHECK – IN
When can I check-in?
Check in will be from 15 Jan 2026 with the exact date stipulated in your lease agreements. Details for check-in will be emailed to you for the exact date or to book a specific date and time.
Why is it important to book a check-in appointment?
To ensure the unit is ready for occupation and access to your space as well as all onboarding, and inspection of your room.
4. ACCOMMODATION/ SERVICES AGREEMENT
What is the length of the accommodation agreement?
11 months from 15 January to 15 December, in line with the academic year for institutions.
Do I need to vacate my room during the holidays?
Yes we are closed from the 16 December to 14 January, but on request accommodation arrangements can be made for this period.

5. FACILITIES
What should I bring?
- Linen, pillow and blankets / duvet’s – all beds are single size.

What am I not allowed to bring?
- No Weapons

Does the accommodation have on-site laundry facilities?
On-site Laundry facilities are available.
6. DAY-TO-DAY
How do I report maintenance issues?
Report all maintenance issues to you appointed administrator or email admin@psaccommodation.co.za
Is there a code of conduct?
Yes, please familiarise yourself with the code of conduct which will be provided during the application process.
Are there rules regarding noise?
Yes, this is covered in the code of conduct. No noise is allowed between 22:00 and 08:00
Do you do room inspections?
We do regular room inspection yes, this approach goes hand in hand with maintaining the high standard of quality accommodation that we want to continue to offer you. Consider it your home away from home, and treat the space with the care you would give your own.
Can I invite friends over?
Yes, this is covered in the code of conduct – you are responsible for your friends while they are on the premises and to make sure that they also adhere to the code of conduct.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property.
7. CHECK-OUT
When do I need to check-out?
The lease will terminate on 15 December 2026. Please ensure all belongings are removed from the property.
How does the check-out inspection work?
An inspection of your room will be conducted prior to you checking out. If you are not present the outcome of the inspection will be provided.
Must I attend the check-out inspection?
Yes you will be required to attend in order to sign the necessary documents that determines your deposit refund or not.
When will my deposit be refunded?
14 Days after your check out inspection provided your apartment is returned in satisfactory condition.
